Pilots interested in flying their RV to Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands sometime in April/May 2011 include:

I'm planning a 2-week trip, and here's a tentative schedule; Week 1 Saturday: For those living in the western US, depart and make your way to Homestead (X51), FL by Tuesday. Tuesday PM: Brief the flight, and file VFR international flight plans. Wednesday: Depart for Providenciales (MBPV) to clear customs and refuel then short flight to Grand Turk (MBGT) for 2 nights at the Osprey Beach Hotel. Friday: Depart for San Juan (Axel Alvarez is the POC) where some will choose to stay the week, and others will continue on to St. John (Mike Stewart POC) or Virgin Gorda (Ed Darcy POC). Week 2 Saturday through Thursday: Enjoy your Island time ;-) Friday: Depart to Providenciales for fuel continuing into the Bahamas (fuel/clear customs) arriving Ft. Pierce (FPR), FL and stay the night (or press on, your choice). Saturday/Sunday: Travel days for those of us living on the west coast! Last Update: 12 May 2009
